This model is characterized by its bicompax dial layout with sub counters positioned on a north south axis against a silver plated backdrop. The counters which provide chronograph minutes and seconds are finished in rose gold trimmings, including the delicate Arabic numerals placed around the hour track.

The watch��s 30 meter water resistant stainless steel case provides a protective housing around IWC Schaffhausen��s in house made Calibre 69355. This reliable and meticulously crafted engine performs at a rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour behind a transparent caseback made from sapphire crystal glass. The material is also sealed to the front of the case to protect the dial from heat, moisture, scratching and debris. This men��s IWC Portugieser automatic watch takes residence upon the wrist with a practical and compact 41mm diameter. A classic hand finished black leather strap made by Italian shoemaker, Santoni, envelopes the wrist, securing with a robust stainless steel pin buckle engraved with the iconic IWC logo.
